Shoo, fly! Don't bother Kimono. :P
It's been awhile since I introduced Sweetsong, so if you don't remember her, be sure to click on the "Sweetsong" tag to see her first appearance.

Happy birthday, Minty. I'm so sorry, Kimono. LOL! Those fabulous socks were knitted by the talented Tic-Tac-Toe. Thanks, TTT!
Big news! KT is now searchable! I've added a search box to the comic page, as well as the archive and site map pages, so now you can easily find all your favorite pages. Just type in a word or phrase, like "wasabi" or "Brightly," and you'll be taken to a list of all KT episodes dealing with that subject. Hooray! I've also added the search function to the sidebar of this blog. Many, many thanks go out to everyone who helped with the transcription process. This was possible because of your generosity!

I work in retail, and I bend over backwards for some of our customers. We have customers who have to buy everything separately, because they can't add. We have customers who leave their money or their ID in their car. And we have customers who play the pointing game either because they can't read or are too lazy to be bothered to speak. I'm sure my pain is universal.
Many, many thanks to those who have helped with the transcription effort! I tried my best to thank each of you individually in my previous entry. Thanks to your hard work, we are halfway there! Woohoo!

Boy, is Kimono in for a surprise. :P
Website news! I have added a much-needed archive page to the comic section. So now, when you're telling your friend about the one where Minty ate wasabi, you'll have an easier time finding the link. ;)
I also plan on adding a search function soon, so comics will be even easier to find. To do this, though, I need help. Each comic page needs to be transcribed and entered into a database. I have six transcribed so far, but that leaves ninety others as of this week. That's more than any one person can do, but it's an easy task for a group. If you'd like to help, please go to my archive database and pick a comic to transcribe. Your help is really appreciated!
Many thanks to those who donated to Rachel Nabors last week. She's raised enough money so far to cover the first of her procedures, but she still needs help getting money for subsequent surgeries. Please visit this page and see how you can help a worthy cause and get an exclusive KT wallpaper.
And finally! My brother-in-law, Kyle, recently graduated from film school and is venturing off into the wider world. I have a few missions in life, and one of them is to help others reach their goals. If I believe in you, I'll do everything I can to promote you and get you out there. So, if you like edgy, indie movies, please consider watching some of his films. (Warning, they contain mature content.) Drunken Gnome Productions.
That's all until next week!

Ah, the smart girl's revenge. Just 'cause it sounds proper, doesn't mean it is. ;)
The Wallpaper Hunt is over! If you haven't found the hidden wallpaper page yet, here is the secret location. I'll be updating the Fun Stuff section to include the wallpapers.

My own apologies to those who speak English as a second language: definitions of "offensive." :P
Happy Birthday, KT!
- KT Flyers--print up some of these flyers and leave small stacks of them in appropriate places, like flyer tables at conventions or the front counter of your favorite comic shop. OMG, viral marketing!
- HideEmail--a little Perl script I wrote that lets you use mailto links on your website without worrying about spambots finding your email address. My gift to the world. ^_^ (Note: it's still in the beta testing stage, and a CGI-BIN is required.)
- KT Scavenger Hunt--well, it's more like an Easter egg hunt, only a little early. ~_^ I've hidden a page on the website that has Batmint and Cooking with Superman desktop wallpapers you can download. To find the page, look for this purple star logo hidden somewhere on the website:
Happy Hunting!

I love Grandaddy, and ever since they broke up, there has been a small hole in the musical section of my heart. But "Nature Anthem" is one of the most persistent ear worms I've ever encountered. So strong, in fact, that I will have to infect several of you, my dear readers, to be rid of it. >:P
Now, if I can turn serious for a moment...
I've had several uncomfortable incidents in the past few weeks involving some well-meaning fans. I love my readers, and I know they meant no harm, but there were serious implications to what they were doing, and I must address those. I am legally obligated to protect my copyrights, and so I hope no one holds this against me. I've written some Fan Activity Guidelines, which I'll also post here for convenience. Please comment with any concerns or questions. ( Terms of Use )
Again, please let me know if you have any concerns or questions. I have to protect my work, but I also want to work with my readers, not against them.

Happiest of holidays to you and yours! :D
This is the last strip of the year! So long, 2007. But we'll be starting off the new year with some really cool changes, which I hope you all will enjoy. I'm so excited! In the mean time, let us all give a moment of silence for Brightly, who probably could not outrun Shenanigans. *solemn*
Also, KT was gifted with some snazzy, new fan art for Christmas! Minty and Spackles are Waiting for Santa on the rooftop. Aww! Thanks, EDP!
Sorry this one was a little late! I went all out on it, so hopefully, it was worth that extra hour waiting. ^_^
Minty's socks, which Kimono is wearing, were made by my ever-talented friend, Jill. You can see more of her adorable creations at Mint Conspiracy. She has lots of cute monsters ready for the holidays, so be sure to check it out!
Aw, happy birthday, Kimono! ^_^ Her birthday's actually on the 20th, but I won't tell anyone if you don't. Shh!
