Minty normally is very charitable. It's just that cinnamon rolls are at stake.

I posted Monday about the state of change I am in and the future of this comic. I got far more comments (and support!) than I expected. I am weighing options, but one possibility stands out. A reader suggested that on weeks when a comic update isn't feasible, that perhaps I should update about my work. This appeals to me, and I'm not sure why it hadn't occurred to me.

What would I call these segments? Mammoths and Minty? Ponies and the Pleistocene? I'm not sure yet. But I did want to check for reader interest before I tried this.

As for scheduling, I will attempt to maintain the Wednesday updates for now. If it becomes clear that Wednesdays simply no longer work, updates most likely will move to Mondays.

I would LOVE to see posts about your work! I am a prehistoric junkie!!

(just finished watching a short series on PBS called Australia's first 4 billion years)

I'd definitely love to hear more about your work. What you've shared in the past has always sounded very interesting. :)

I hear more about your work than the average reader, so I think I don't count there lol.

I'd just like to say, though, that if they do breakfast, to make sure that they make enough food for everyone. Last time we had breakfast at my work, several of us got shafted because there just wasn't enough food to go around (plus people took way too much). And lemme tell ya, that sucks.

I do like the sound of that. ^_^ Indeed, I'd be up for hearing more about that side of things as well as KT - but then you'd wind up with twice the number of updates required. ^_^;

I like the sound of "Ponies and the Pleistocene." As a fellow paleontologist (invertebrate...namely ammonites) I loved seeing the ponies incorporated into the work you were doing. :) I'd love to hear more about what you get to do. :)

I'm leaning toward that name, as well. :D

I'm not a paleontologist, actually! I'm the new education coordinator. Our paleontologist does the research, and I do get to help him, mostly with prospecting. He says I have an enviable eye for detail. If I had to guess... it's from years of working with miniatures. :P But my main responsibility is to take his research and translate it for the general public. It's a fun challenge!

If it's for the general public the please post any links you can. You *know* we're all gonna love anything you write!

Heh. A bit of charity begins at home there.

How about My Little Eohippus?

I second everybody's interest! I'd love to hear about what you do...and since I can tell you love it so much, it sounds like telling us about it would be as fun for you as making KT. :)
