Hello, dearest readers! Kimono, here. Minty and I had a rather boring week, and as such, Dava was unable to make a comic. She says we should be more entertaining in the future. In the mean time, she made some icons for you all to use. Credit for using these is very much appreciated.

This week, I am having my second annual Meet and Greet. It's all Dava's idea. This is your opportunity to speak directly with me, Kimono, and ask your most burning questions. Although I hope you don't get too personal. I have my dignity, you know. If response is good, you all will be blessed with the dubious reward of a Meet and Greet with Minty. You can read last year's Meet and Greet to get an idea of the sorts of questions I've answered before.

Ground Rules:
  1. Because of the sheer number of readers, please limit yourself to one or two questions.
  2. All questions will be answered, but do remember that children read KT. Questionable content will be screened.
  3. All questions must be received by 10:00 pm CST on Saturday, 29 September 2007. After this point, no further questions will be taken.
  4. Have fun!

Kimono,
when you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?

And,

What are you most afraid of?

When I was young, I wanted to be a chef! I still have a love of traditional cuisine.

I have a healthy respect for electricity. You'll not find me tinkering with any of the wiring in this house.

Is it difficult to type with hooves?

Hearkening to your love of Japanese culture, do you watch any anime, and if so which one is your favorite?

It's nigh impossible to type with hooves. We rely mostly on voice recognition programs for using the computer.

I'm often asked about anime, but I find it irrelevant to Japanese culture. It's popular culture, which does not interest me much. I don't watch many movies or television programs, much less anime. I'm afraid I couldn't comment on them without insulting those who enjoy them.

So, Kimpno, first of all do you like your name, if you dont what do you want it to be?

And now what kind of websites do you go to? Ponyjounal?

I like my name very much! I actually look identical to my mother, and my parents considered naming me Chochin after her. They decided to give me my own identity, though, and so I was named Kimono.

I go to a few different websites on a regular basis. I like Google News and I spend a lot of time here on LiveJournal. I also enjoy Cute Overload.

Hey Kimono, my question for you is who is your favorite author and why? Also, what is your favorite book, it can be by any author, and why? :-)

My favorite author is Wysteria Vale, because she's my sister. That's terribly mushy, isn't it? My favorite book is Anne of Green Gables. I consider Anne and I to be "kindred spirits," as she says.

Awww, I don't see that as being mushy at all. Very touching. And I sadly have never read Anne of Green Gables, but now you have me curious. So I will have to check it out for sure now. Thanks for the lovely answers Kimono. :-)
