Our pets must really hate this time of year. Thanks for the inspiration, Shelley! ;D

I went to Wizard World Dallas on Saturday, and while I was there, I got to talk to Ethan van Sciver for awhile. I asked him his opinion on whether Green Lantern could use his ring to create edible onions. Both he and Bob Wayne (yes, that Bob Wayne), who is VP of Distribution at DC Comics, were in agreement that no, the GL ring could not be used to create food. I am still waiting to hear from Geoff Johns, who I consider the final authority on this, but for those who were involved in the debate over the latest Cooking with Superman episode, there's your answer.

I'm sort of embarrassed that I had to ask that of him. o_O

anytime! :)

but what they don't tell us is they secretly (and in callie's case, not so secretly) LOVE the attention they get from us while we dress them up. :D

Callie has no dignity, LOL!

Feel free to spread the word! Some of your friends got caught up in that, and I embarrassed myself on their behalf. :P

I had a chihuahua when I was a kid, and I dressed him in doll's clothes. He didn't seem to mind it too much. :P

Hahahaa! I wish they'd had costumes as cool as those on clearance at Walmart. My cats had to settle for a pirate costume. XD

I have a great, little pirate hat for LPS, but alas, no eyepatch. I ought to make one of those!

We all suffer for our craft, Dava. *nods sagely*

And by we I mean you, since I have no craft.

And I'm sure you gave him an interesting story to tell now.

The good news is that I put out two stacks of flyers at the con, and they were all taken by the time I left. And I met James O'Barr! So it wasn't all embarrassment. :P

Mexican hat love!

And how did I not notice that Minty's rug is purple checkered? WANT!
Nov. 16th, 2008 03:29 pm (UTC)
Purple and light yellow checkered, even! I love her rug. It came with a Barbie playset, but I bet any scrap of microfiber plush would do.

Hehe...I meant in people size, for MY bedroom.
