To be fair, Kimono's grandmother also sends strange gifts. What Brightly didn't tell us is that his grandmother also is a frequent eavesdropper. He never got away with anything when he was growing up!

There was a bonus comic Monday, so if you missed it, be sure to go back and check it out!

Customized him. I shortened the hair and lashes and swiped all the glitter off his face.

Aw man, you could get the glitter off? The only reason I never bought him was because I hated that glitter so much. Blaine told me it was irremovable.

Love this strip. :D

It's really easily removed, just soak a cotton pad in acetone and let it sit on the glitter a bit....it will take some scrubbing but it will come off. I've customized a brights brightly and many other sparkleface ponies, and I've been able to get the glitter off every time :)

musewrangler introduced me to Goof Off, which works so much better than acetone. Glitter and paint come right off!

Oh! And you'll appreciate this. Brightly's grandmother's invisibility works like that of a Kokiri from Ocarina of Time. ^_^

A lot of people are under the impression that the G3 glitter is permanently affixed, but it just takes patience. The G1 glitter came off easily with a few swipes of an acetone-soaked cotton ball, because it's glitter paint; for the G3 glitter, you need to let an acetone-soaked cotton ball sit on the glitter for a couple minutes, because it's glitter glue. Gotta give the acetone a chance to dissolve the glue before it'll come off. With a bit of scrubbing, it comes off cleanly. :)
