It's Wasabi! I originally planned to introduce this little fellow back in 2007, but I just never could find the right time. Our two hundredth comic seemed like as good a time as any! Many thanks to David for the fantastic miniature dice set. They are lovely!

Happy holidays to you and yours. See you Monday!

Heeeee! I love Wasabi! I hope we see more of him. Lots more.

And... will you ask David to tell me where he got those sweet tiny dice? I want to give them money. I'd like some tiny dice back for it, of course, but wow... tiiiiny diiiice!!!

Micro Metal Dice
You might check a local game shop, or send me a email and I can get them.

Re: Micro Metal Dice
That's very kind of you! I know my local shop doesn't have them. They have some *small* dice, but not that small.

The dice are made by Chessex, but they haven't added them to the catalog or website yet. You'll need to email a Chessex employee to find them right now.

Edit: *answers questions without refreshing pages first* Oh, hey! Is that a Monkey King icon? That story is one of the few things Kimono and Minty have in common. ^_^

Why yes, it is a Monkey King icon! I'm a great fan of Sun Aware Of Vacuity, the Great Sage Equal to Heaven. I should have guessed that Kimono and Minty would be too. As, presumably, are you! :)

I have a tattered translation of Journey to the West around here somewhere, but I haven't been able to find it since I moved two years ago. :(

The Arthur Waley translation (the best, IMHO) has recently been re-released in Penguin Classics!
I've got an old beat-up paperback of the same translation, and a wonderful oddity picked up in Oxfam beutifully and creepily weirdly illustrated... and recently caved to temptation and bought the entire TV series on DVD. :) Ach, they had it in Fopp for relatively cheap-- what could I do???
