I have a love/hate relationship with Facebook, which leans more toward hate. The controls are unintuitive, the settings change all the time, and it's full of social stupidity made worse by the fact that all your relatives and people who teased you in high school are there. In my frustrations, I've taken to calling it "Facebutt." Some of my friends started calling it Facebutt, too. At first, I was amused. "They think I'm funny! Awesome!" Then, I started having doubts. What if their friends started saying it? And their friends? How will I feel when the word is just out there in the wild, and I hear it spoken by a total stranger? Horrors!

I found myself becoming possessive of the word. I imagine a lot of writers have this problem, becoming attached to words they coin. Then again, maybe not. I've always been strange that way. Is it ridiculous? Absolutely! I still want to plant my flag on the word, anyway. Facebutt is mine.

I also totally came up with "dooter."

It's a new month, and that means a new vote incentive! Get KT into the top 100 of Top Web Comics for a day, and there will be a bonus comic Monday, May 31. I already have an idea, and it's a doozy! Also, be sure to check this week's auctions. Lots of good stuff ending today, and more going up!

I've invented a word too. Boop. We use it to refer how much power a battery indicator shows. Like when your Wii remote has only half power left, it has only two battery "boops" left.

My cell phone is fully charged so it shows three battery "boops."

When such a device is nearly dead, we tend to say, "hey, looks like you're low on boop-age."

*puts up a billboard claiming the word "boop"*

I use boop, but it's a cutesy married couple thing. I press my husband's nose like a button and say, "Boop!"

I like that usage too. ^^ Cute. Boop just seems like a multi-purpose word. XD
