I cleaned out my desk last year, which was filled with things from my childhood, because I have had it that long. Yes, I really am that much of a slob. I chuckled when I came across two pogs. I never played with pogs, and yet, I had managed to acquire two of them.

Incidentally, if you want your ponies or other dolls to have pogs, just find a magazine no one cares about, grab a hole punch, et voilà! Mini pogs.

Virtual cookies to the first person to quote Milhouse. XD

I have auctions ending today, and I'll be listing some rare, special items this afternoon. Stay tuned!

Also, it's a new month, and that means a new vote incentive. Get KT into the top 100 of Top Web Comics, and there will be a bonus comic Monday, October 25.

As an aside, I started posting the comment before I even saw the part about the cookies, cause I knew you'd get it if I posted that quote. :3

Ha! Pogs!

I never played with them, either, but I certainly remember them. :D

I remember pogs! I worked at a dollar store at the time and the company was trying everything to sell them. They were cute, but I never played them either.

Ah, memories of my days in retail at the height of the pog craze in the 90s -- keeping an eye on herds of 8-year-olds who were digging through the pog basket, taking hours and hours to decide on a 10-cent purchase.

We got our pog stock in bulk, and they were generic -- no licensed characters or anything. Some of them were pretty weird. I never played, and I hated selling them, but I kept a few of the strange ones. They're around somewhere. ^_^

"Incidentally, if you want your ponies or other dolls to have pogs, just find a magazine no one cares about, grab a hole punch, et voilà!"

It's a good thing pogs were never made of felt. XD

One time my friend dragged me into a Christian bookstore, and I bought Christian-themed pogs. I was never even into pogs, but I thought they were cool. XD

Hee! I thought of you the whole I was putting this one together. :D Not only does Minty have pogs, but the box also had her rubber chicken and her Middle Earth books. You've got fingerprints all over this one!

POGS! I loved those growing up; between the four of us we had a zillion, all with out initials on the backs so we couldn't steal from each other. My sibs and I had sharing issues...

And it's a really useful box!! I'd been meaning to tell you about those! They're the perfect size for a pony's storage!

I bought three of them when Office Depot was having their Back to School sales. :D They are really useful!

Oh I have whole loads of pogs, and so does my brother. They were banninated at our school because they were a form of gambling. That's also why Pokemon cards were banninated.

I SOOOO had Lion King Pog (and never played a single game) LOL!

One of my two pogs has a panda on it. Someone made a set of endangered animals pogs!

I'm actually upset because my metal Slammers went missing a while back. I hope they just got mixed up with my sister's and my cousin didn't steal them all those years ago. >.<

And I knew when I saw those containers at Staples they'd wind up in your hands. Aren't they just PERFECT Pony size?

I remember Pogs! For some reason, my brother and I weren't allowed to actually PLAY with the Pogs, but we were allowed to at least collect them. I think at one point, I had 200.

Sadly, they were amongst the many things that met the tragic fate of an angry dad going on a "throwing his kids stuff out" rampage...

It seems a lot of kids weren't allowed to play with them because parents or schools considered it gambling. I also remember seeing a guy on TV saying they were demonic because he heard some pog champ talk about channeling his chi into his slammer. Oy.

Mine are cooler, because I don't have pogs I have TAZOS!!

I wanted cookies, but I was beaten, so I choose cake... mmm cake

When you mentioned Simpsons, the first thing I actually thought of was the $500 Steve Allen pog from the episode 'Round Springfield. Took me a while to remember the Alf pog one.

I never did play with pogs, though. I think I may have been a bit too old when they first became popular.
